She was born 07 July 1911 in Duane, Mahnomen, White Earth Indian Reservation, Minnesota, and died 18 November 2001 in St. Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Allan Lionel Sheppard and Elizabeth May Goodwin. He married (2) Juanita Amick.
