Calling all descendants of Frederick Walter Ohmann and Mary Cecelia Gardner!
Save the date 17 May 2008 for a reunion at Paula's bar! (More information to follow.)
In preparation for the reunion of the descendants of Fred and Mary Ohmann, please submit the information requested below one time FOR EACH DESCENDANT. For example, if you're submitting information for yourself, your spouse or partner, and your three children, you will submit this form five times. The form looks long, but there are only ten required fields. Please include descendants who have married into (or have otherwise become connected with) the family. Please include natural born, adopted, step, and love children. Please include all children even if they do not live with you. We're not making any judgements here; we're simply trying to capture a complete and accurate descendants list in order to celebrate this family.
Why are you asking for so much personal information? The information will be used to create an Ancestors and Descendants booklet which we hope to distribute at the reunion. You can see a sample of a similar booklet online. This booklet was created for the Sheppard family reunion in 2001, and it is protected with a password. To view the sample booklet, answer the password hint or call Sandy for the password. Click here to view the sample booklet. You can see what a descendants list looks like here. You can see what a reunion directory looks like here.
What if I'm not comfortable providing some of the information? That's fine. We hope to - at the very least - include every person's name. After that, if there is any piece of information you don't want to share, simply check "I'm not telling" and we'll leave it off the descendants list. Just FYI - much of this information (including birth dates, death dates, marriage dates, and divorce dates) can be obtained from Ancestry.com and the Minnesota Historical Society, but we are asking you to provide it so we know your comfort level when including it on our descendants list.
